Lotsa Cakes is a locally owned home bakery specializing in custom cakes, cupcakes, desserts, cake toppers, and edible designs for celebrations of all kinds. As a self-taught baker and cake designer, I love taking an idea and turning it into something completely unique for each customer. Rather than offering a standard catalog of cakes, most of my work is created specifically for the person and occasion being celebrated. Customers can bring me an inspiration photo, a party invitation, a color palette, a favorite character or hobby, or even just a general idea, and I can help turn it into a custom design. Custom cakes are the heart of Lotsa Cakes.
I create cakes for birthdays, baby and bridal showers, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, gender reveals, milestone celebrations, holidays, and just about any other occasion worth celebrating. Designs range from simple and elegant buttercream cakes to detailed themed cakes, vintage-style cakes, heart cakes, sheet cakes, tiered cakes, wedding cakes, and highly customized designs featuring handmade decorations, edible images, sculpted elements, and personalized toppers. And while I absolutely love creating beautiful cakes, I believe they should taste just as good as they look. Customers can choose from a variety of cake flavors, buttercreams, and fillings to create a combination that fits their celebration.
Lotsa Cakes offers more than just cakes. I also create custom cupcakes and treats that can be designed to coordinate with a cake or party theme. For larger celebrations, party packages are available to make ordering desserts for a crowd easier. Another big part of my business is creating custom cake toppers and edible images. Personalized toppers can include names, ages, characters, themes, colors, and other special details. Edible images are printed with food-safe edible ink and can be customized for cakes and other desserts. These are a great option for customers who enjoy baking themselves but want a professional, personalized finishing touch.
I also create wedding and special-event cakes, with each design customized around the couple’s celebration. Wedding cakes are available in a variety of sizes, flavors, fillings, and styles, from understated buttercream designs to more elaborate tiered cakes.
Because Lotsa Cakes is a small home-based business, every order receives personal attention from beginning to end. I personally communicate with customers, plan and design their orders, bake their cakes, create the decorations, and put everything together by hand. There isn’t a production line or a stack of premade cakes waiting to be decorated—each order is created specifically for the customer who ordered it. One of my favorite parts of what I do is seeing the variety of ideas customers bring to me. One week I may be creating an elegant wedding cake, and the next I might be designing a child’s favorite cartoon character, a milestone birthday cake, or a completely unusual theme I’ve never worked with before. That creativity is a huge part of why I love what I do. At the end of the day, Lotsa Cakes is about helping people celebrate life’s special moments with something made just for them.
